GRAND TETON NATIONAL PARK — Just in time for peak season, Grand Teton National Park (GTNP) announced upgrades to the recycling options available in the Colter Bay area of the park.

A new bear-resistant recycling station by the Colter Bay Campground has designated compartments for numerous varieties of recyclables, including snack wrappers, flexible plastics and used fishing line alongside the standard bottle and can options.

“These new recycling and disposal stations make it easier than ever to keep Grand Teton clean, safe and beautiful for all—from campers to critters to mother earth herself,” GTNP posted to Facebook.

The park shared that 30 new cigarette butt receptacles have been installed as well.

“Let’s show some love to this place we all enjoy by recycling right,” GTNP posted.
