Grand Teton National Park Press Release

MOOSE, Wyo. — The National Park Service (NPS) has issued two concession prospectuses for contracts to provide guided mountain climbing, climbing instruction, ski mountaineering and other services within Grand Teton National Park (GTNP).

Each new contract will set a 10-year term, with expected start dates of Jan. 1, 2024.

According to GTNP, 26 concessioners and approximately 160 commercial use authorization holders currently provide a variety of visitor services in the Park.

Concessions contracts are long-term contracts between the NPS and a business to provide visitor services that are “necessary and appropriate in achieving the mission of the park, including providing for visitor enjoyment,” GNTP’s press release said.

Those interested in submitting proposals can learn more on the NPS Commercial Services website. The deadline for submission is Sept. 19. Reach out to Jennifer Parker, Commercial Services Program Lead, at jennifer_parker@nps.gov for more information.
