WILSON, Wyo. — Wednesday’s ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the completion of the Big Fill Slide and Snake River Bridge projects will host some heavy hitters.
Gov. Mark Gordon and Congresswoman Harriet Hageman will join the Wyoming Department of Transportation (WYDOT) for the event, scheduled for 1:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 30, at Stilson.
WYDOT Director Darin Westby, Teton County chairman Mark Newcomb and representatives from Ames Construction will also be part of the program. Space is limited, and construction at Stilson is ongoing.
According to WYDOT, Gordon will be meeting with partners and celebrating the culmination of the two major projects. No public reception is expected to take place.
Hageman is scheduled to host a town hall meeting at Pinedale High School on Tuesday, July 29, at 5 p.m. Earlier this year, she took a break from in-person meetings following a spate of tense public events.
