A message from Habitat for Humanity of the Greater Teton Area:
WILSON, Wyo. — On June 25th, the lawn at Calico Bar & Restaurant was filled with inspiration, sunshine, and purpose as supporters of Habitat for Humanity of the Greater Teton Area (Teton Habitat) gathered for the sold-out annual DREAM BUILDERS Luncheon, our largest fundraiser of the year.
This powerful event brought together locals who share a passion for building truly affordable housing. From heartfelt stories to exciting announcements, DREAM BUILDERS was a celebration of what we’ve accomplished together, and where we’re going next.
Attendees heard moving stories from Habitat homeowners like Brian Becerra and Madison Doering, who reminded us why we build: so long-time locals, multigenerational families, and the Jackson workforce can finally call this valley home for good. We also shared an inspiring update from Brittany Tzompa, our 2024 Dream Builders speaker whose Habitat home gave her the stability to chase new, big dreams.
“Seeing DREAM BUILDERS sell out this year is incredibly inspiring,” said Jason Bruni, Development Manager for Teton Habitat. “We’re beyond grateful to our sponsors, our guests, and Calico Bar & Restaurant for hosting this amazing event each year. And we more than reached our goal for the fundraiser, receiving over $106,000 in generous donations with more still coming in. We are absolutely honored to see the trust our community is putting in our work, the faith they have in what Teton Habitat can do to positively impact the wonderful people who live here.”
As we mark 30 years of building homes and hope in Teton County, we look ahead to transformational projects like the newly approved Northern South Park development, which will bring up to 200 affordable homes to Jackson Hole.
“We’re growing to do more,” said Executive Director Kris Greenville, who will soon step into the crucial role of Chief Operating Officer. “And thanks to the incredible energy at DREAM BUILDERS, we’re charging into this next chapter with real momentum. Northern South Park is just the beginning.”
To help lead this bold new era, Teton Habitat is hiring a new Chief Executive Officer (CEO): a visionary leader ready to scale impact, secure vital funding, and guide our mission forward. Interested candidates can apply by emailing jobs@tetonhabitat.org.
Thank you to all the incredible people who made DREAM BUILDERS possible, and to all the passionate community members who showed up to make this year’s event the greatest yet.
