JACKSON, Wyo. — Looking to stock up on office supplies and furniture?
Teton County is hosting a yard sale on Wednesday, hoping to rehome unneeded items as the staff transitions out of working from the County Courthouse and moves to a temporary office space before the Justice Center is complete. Items up for grabs include desks, chairs, bookshelves, fixtures, scanners and miscellaneous office supplies.
“Rather than disposing of these materials, the County will make them available to the community through a public sale,” Teton County shared in the event announcement, adding, “This effort supports the County’s commitment to sustainability by ensuring that items are reused rather than discarded.”
Nonprofits and government agencies will have first dibs — they can collect available items at no cost from 10 a.m. to noon on Wednesday. Then, the sale will open to the public from noon to 4 p.m., when items will be available “for a nominal fee.” The County noted that all items are available as-is, and item removal is up to the buyer.
