WILSON, Wyo. — The Old Wilson Schoolhouse is hosting its 4th-annual community potluck dinner this week.

The dinner is sure to be replete with food and fun. According to the announcement, everyone in the community is welcome and it is free to attend. There will be hamburgers, hotdogs, beer and wine. Kids will be occupied with games and competitions, while adults will stay busy with trivia and a raffle.

The potluck will take place on Tuesday, June 24, from 5 to 7:30 p.m. at the Old Wilson Schoolhouse Community Center at 5655 Main Street in Wilson. Attendees are encouraged to bring a side dish to share and can enter it in the “Around the World Dish Contest” for a chance to win prizes. Drop off side-dish entries by 5:30 p.m.

DJ Crazy Tom will be there to host a friendly round of trivia, and the silent cake auction and raffle will raise money for the schoolhouse. The raffle and trivia will begin at 6:30 p.m. For information on donating a cake to the silent cake auction, email Amanda Moyer: amanda@oldwilsonschool.com. Raffle prizes include local gift cards, bike passes to Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and tickets to Grand Teton Music Festival.

New this year are a series of competitions for kids to compete in for prizes. There will be a three-legged race, a wheelbarrow race and a water balloon toss. Kids games will begin at 5:30 p.m. There will also be “a fun slime activity” for the young ones.
