JACKSON, Wyo. — Community Foundation of Jackson Hole recently launched a new website for Old Bill’s Fun Run, Jackson’s annual philanthropic initiative that raises awareness of local nonprofits and community needs.

The new website, oldbills.org, was designed by local firms, New Thought Digital and Truespire, with the goal of enhancing the user experience for nonprofits and community members during the Old Bill’s Giving Season and beyond. The new site provides easy, intuitive access to information about the event, the local nonprofits participating this year, as well as how to donate to your favorite causes. The launch of oldbills.org is the culmination of Old Bill’s rebranding efforts which began rolling out in 2022.

Last year, one in three Teton County households donated through Old Bill’s Fun Run, and Old Bill’s web presence had more than 13,000 unique visitors during the five-week Giving Season.

Over the past twenty-six years, Old Bill’s has grown to be one of the most innovative and successful fundraising initiatives in the country. The Old Bill’s 2023 Giving Season runs from Aug. 11 until Sept. 15 and Old Bill’s Fun Run Day will take place on Saturday, Sept. 9, 2023, at Jackson Elementary School Field on Willow Street.

About Old Bill’s Fun Run

One of the most innovative philanthropic initiatives in the nation, Old Bill’s Fun Run is also one of the most successful. Twenty-six years ago, a generous couple, fondly known as Mr. and Mrs. Old Bill, envisioned a collaborative initiative to support local nonprofits. For the first time, organizations came together in an efficient, unified fundraiser that raised awareness of local nonprofits and community needs.

Since its inception, Old Bill’s has brought an astounding $228 million philanthropic dollars to our community. These funds are busy feeding the hungry, supporting the sick and elderly, teaching kids to read, protecting wildlife, building affordable housing, enriching our lives through the arts, and touching the lives of everyone in Teton County. Old Bill’s is administered by the Community Foundation of Jackson Hole. For more information, visit oldbills.org.
