JACKSON, Wyo. — Town Council meetings will be held at the Teton County Library for the remainder of the month while Town Council’s Chambers at Town Hall undergo renovations, according to a Tuesday announcement by the Town of Jackson.

Chambers will receive updates to its audiovisual system. The technology in the current Town Council Chambers has not had a full renovation since 1988.

In 2026, the Town will host municipal court in Council’s Chambers. Weekly court sessions, hearings and trials will continue as scheduled on Wednesdays from 9 a.m. to 12 p.m.

Beginning Jan. 7, police department bailiffs with conduct security screenings in the lobby of Town Hall. Anyone entering the Council Chambers on Wednesdays while court is in session will have to pass through metal detectors.
