JACKSON, Wyo. — Officials are responding to a fire that has started near Swinging Bridge south of Jackson close to the Snake River.
Henry’s Road, Game Creek, Squaw Creek, and Porcupine Creek subdivisions are in GO stage and asked to evacuate.
Staging for those evacuated will be available at Munger Mountain Elementary School parking lot and a briefing will take place at 7 p.m.
Smoke from the fire can be seen from miles away. Fire fighters are currently on the scene.
