BONDURANT, Wyo. — This weekend, the 30th running of the Pedigree Stage Stop Sled Dog Race concluded after Stage Seven near Dubois, Wyoming, with Alix Crittenden from Bondurant, Wyoming, placing third.

First place was Anny Malo from Saint Zenon Quebec, Canada, with Cathy Rivest from St-Paul-de-Joilette Quebec, Canada, coming in second.

According to Crittenden’s Stage Stop bio, she starting mushing in 2009 as a guide for Frank Teasley’s JHI Sled Dog Tours and has since raced all over North America for several different kennels. Crittenden and her husband own and operate Sleeping Indian Outfitters in Bondurant.
