On Friday night, May 2, two free cultural events are available to the community. First, the Center Commons will host an opening reception for the new Star Quilts exhibition from 5 to 6:30 p.m. View the quilted works of art and meet Miracle Seminole with Cherokee Brown, the artists behind the exhibit. Learn about the cultural significance of star quilts in Native American and family traditions, passed down through generations.

Then, a free fashion show presented by Jackson Hole Pride is scheduled in the Theater Lobby on Friday night. Models will walk the runway for the Spring Fling Fashion Thing 2 Collection twice on Friday night, first at 7:30 p.m. and again at 9:30 p.m. The original collection is designed, styled and modeled by LGBTQIA+ artists. Expect a dance party between shows with live DJs. The Center notes that this event has a recommended “PG-13” rating. The free event is open to all ages and open to the public, with a suggested donation option.
