WYOMING — Feeling stressed?

AARP Wyoming is hosting a free six-week Qigong class to help participants manage stress and anxiety as the holiday season approaches. The virtual seminar will run for six weeks, meeting for one hour on Saturdays from Nov. 16 through Dec. 21.

Qigong, for the uninitiated, is an ancient healing art hailing from China involving meditation, breathing and movement exercises.

AARP says the series will also instruct participants in the art of nonviolent communication, intended to help with the improvement of self-awareness, mindfulness, clear communication and emotional well-being.
