JACKSON, Wyo. — St. John’s Health Foundation announces a new slate of board leadership and welcomes eight new members to its Board of Directors, marking an important transition as the organization looks ahead to 2026.

Board leadership Transition

Tom Bruno has been named Chair of the St. John’s Health Foundation Board of Directors, effective 2026. Bruno has served on the Board since 2019 and most recently as Vice Chair in 2025.

Jane Hopkins Carey, who joined the Board in 2018 and served as Chair beginning in 2024, has completed her third and final term and will continue her involvement with the Foundation as Past Chair and Co-Chair of a Development Committee in 2026.

“Jane has led with vision, integrity, and heart—always grounded in why this work matters to our community,” said Anna Olson, President of St. John’s Health Foundation. “We are deeply grateful for her leadership and continued partnership. As Tom steps into the role of Chair, we do so with great confidence in his enthusiasm, generosity of spirit, and deep belief in local healthcare.”

New Board of Directors

St. John’s Health Foundation is also pleased to welcome eight new directors in 2026: Paul Beaupré, MD (former St. John’s Health CEO); Jon Dawson; Mike Eden; Scott Gibson; Michael Goodman; Annie Morita; Tina Sack; and AJ Wheeler, MD. Together, they bring a broad range of professional and fundraising expertise and a shared dedication to strengthening healthcare in Teton County and the surrounding region.

“Our Board of Directors play a vital role in safeguarding the future of St. John’s Health,” Olson added. “We are excited to welcome this new group of leaders whose perspectives and experience will further strengthen our work.”

Gratitude and remembrance

The Foundation extends its sincere thanks to outgoing board members, Tom Fay (6 years), May Herr (6 years), Marcia Lux, MD (2 years), Bob Pisano (10 years), Patricia Robertson (6 years), and Ted Staryk (9 years) for their years of dedicated service. Their leadership helped guide the organization through a period of growth and impact, reinforcing the power of community-led philanthropy in sustaining high-quality, local care.

The Foundation also honors the memory of Chuck Fleischman, (Board Member for 16 years) whose passing in 2025 marked a profound loss for the organization and the Jackson community.

“Chuck was a passionate advocate for St. John’s Health and a thoughtful leader whose commitment to local care leaves an enduring legacy,” Olson said.

Looking ahead

With the guidance of its Board of Directors and the generosity of donors, St. John’s Health Foundation remains committed to preserving St. John’s Health as an independent, locally led, and community-focused rural health system for generations to come.
