WILSON, Wyo. — As ski season looms, the Teton BUILD Grant has provided an update on the winter parking outlook for the Stilson lot while construction is underway.

Paving on 179 striped spaces and 10 ADA-accessible stalls was completed earlier this month. Drivers will also be allowed to park in the gravel lot northwest of the road, taking the number of total available spots this winter to 500, according to the BUILD team. Those 500 spaces are expected to be available to skiers, commuters and more from November to June.

“Commuters and ski season visitors are encouraged to plan ahead, allow extra time for parking, and utilize START Bus transit routes serving the lot and Teton Village throughout the winter,” BUILD Grant’s press release states.

The START Bus stop will remain in its current location, and the START building adjacent to the stop will be accessible throughout construction, BUILD noted. The project is expected to be completed by summer 2026.
