WILSON, Wyo. — The Jackson Hole Land Trust (JHLT) will host the annual Rendezvous Park Solstice Celebration, marking the 10-year anniversary of the R Park, on Thursday, June 20, from 4 to 7 p.m.

This year’s event, which celebrates Teton County’s first nonprofit-run park, will kick off summer with free StreetFood tacos (while supplies last), $5 Highpoint Ciders, live music from Missy Jo and Joe Rudd and yoga in English and Spanish with Erwin Velasquez.

“We love to see everyone show up to celebrate open space and enjoy everything that R Park has to offer,” JHLT Community Conservation Associate Molly Broom said via press release.

According to JHLT, the day offers a wide selection of activities for the entire family. Attendees can visit the R Park’s resident troll, Mama Mimi, for a kid’s scavenger hunt with JH Public Art. Teton County Pet Partners will be present with therapy animals, and Cowgirl Mermaid will offer a patch bar where guests can have an R Park anniversary patch sewn onto their clothing.

Additionally, Rendezvous River Sports will provide kayaks and stand-up paddleboards, Wyoming Stargazing will offer solar telescope viewing to celebrate the longest day of the year and the Wyoming Game and Fish Department will host educational activities about local wildlife and fish species.
