JACKSON, Wyo. — Gobble, gobble Jackson Hole! The annual Jackson Hole Turkey Trot 5K fun run kicks off at 9 a.m. on Thanksgiving morning, Nov. 23.

Gather your crew, grab a costume or your most festive holiday sweater, and join in on the fun run from the Stilson parking lot. All are welcome, including pets — on leashes.

The course follows the bike path towards Wilson and back. The race is free and untimed but there will be a time clock running for those looking to self-time. Prior sign-up is encouraged, donations will be accepted and the first 200 people to show up will get a commemorative beanie and pin.

The top three female and male finishers and best-dressed racers will win prizes. In addition to the crisp winter air and the camaraderie of all those toeing the line, there will be hot cider and donuts at the finish line.

There’s no better way to start off Thanksgiving morning than with a bit of exercise under the Tetons and no time like the present to start a new holiday tradition!

The event is sponsored by the Jackson Hole Travel & Tourism Board, St. Johns Health, Bank of Jackson Hole, Pearl Street Market, Jackson Hole Mountain Resort and the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce.
