JACKSON, Wyo. — Teton County Integrated Solid Waste & Recycling (ISWR) formally thanks the community and the Town of Jackson for their participation in the annual Christmas Tree drop located at the Rodeo Grounds.

According to ISWR, residential engagement and all the community members that have dropped off un-decorated and clean trees has continued the success of the program. During the past three years, community participation has diverted 72.1 tons of trees from the landfill.

Trees can be accepted from residents and commercial entities, including landscapers and property managers, year-round. Discarded trees must now be delivered to the Trash Transfer Station at 5400 W. US HW89 during business hours on Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. until 3 p.m. and Saturday from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. at a tip fee rate of $93.00 per ton.

Christmas lights can be recycled at the Recycling Center at 3270 South Adams Canyon Road Jackson, WY 83001.

ISWR thanks the community for consideration and for keeping these materials out of the landfill.
