JACKSON, Wyo. — Digital communication is one of the most powerful tools in our toolbox for women’s empowerment.
So says Jensine Larsen, the keynote speaker at the Women in Leadership Summit this Friday. Tickets to the full-day summit are nearly sold out, but the public can still buy tickets to Coffee & Keynote Friday morning.
Larsen is an award-winning digital entrepreneur, international journalist, and speaker. She is the founder of World Pulse, a global digital network connecting tens of thousands of women from 190 countries. World Pulse women are building global movements, launching businesses, and changing cultural practices that impact more than 7.6 million lives, all because Larsen’s digital platform and mentorship has brought them together.
Larsen’s keynote will explain the power of technology to accelerate women’s global empowerment. “We are on the verge of the greatest acceleration of women’s empowerment in history due to the connective power of digital communication,” Larsen has said.
Larsen has received multiple awards and recognitions for her work including the Rockefeller 100 game changers and the Tribeca Innovative Distruptor fellowship. In 2018, she was awarded the United Nations Social Impact Award. She’s four years into a 10-year fellowship training the planet’s next generation of system change leaders.
Doors to Coffee & Keynote open at 8:30 a.m. Friday at The Center. Coffee and breakfast snacks will be provided by Kate’s Real Food, Healthy Being Juicery, and Snake River Roasting Company. Larsen’s keynote will begin at 9:30 a.m.
Tickets are $25 and available at the Center for the Arts Box Office.
