Valley’s largest rummage sale readies for June 9 blowout

JACKSON HOLE, WYO – Without argument this is the biggest, baddest rummage sale in all of Jackson Hole. How big? It takes a full week to set it all up.

Whether you are looking to do a little spring-cleaning purge or a whole lot of bargain hunting, the annual PCJH (Presbyterian Church of Jackson Hole) Annual Rummage Sale is right around the corner.

Mounted Patrol will be helping with parking and keeping law and order when the frenzied shopping spree begins.

The Teton County Fairgrounds building will be transformed into yard sale to rival all other yard sales on Saturday, June 9, from 8am to noon. Parking assisted by JH Mounted Patrol.

If you are looking to rid yourself of a few items, donations are now being accepted at the Presbyterian Church on South Park Loop Road. Hours of collection are from 3:30 to 5:00pm Monday through Friday and after the 10:15am service on every Sunday through June 3.

Items collected are antiques, collectables, toys, sporting goods including sleeping bags and camping gear, garden equipment, household goods (kitchen, bedroom, bath, living room supplies), gently used clothing of all kinds (especially children’s), and lighter weight furniture items.

What they won’t take: Please donate books to the library. Mattresses are not allowed to be resold.

Whether you consider yourself a professional or amateur bargain hunter, you don’t want to miss this one. Expect to score something unique. The surprises found each year at the PCJH Rummage Sale are worth the early morning trip. Just ask the hundreds of people who come back every year.
