Teton Pass closing tomorrow, parking restrictions start tonight

JACKSON, Wyo. — Teton Pass will close tomorrow, March 31 at 4 p.m. tomorrow for avalanche mitigation.

Changing weather and avalanche conditions may force an earlier closure.

No parking will be permitted between the Idaho state line and the closure gate in Wilson beginning at 8 p.m. today. It is unknown at this time when the parking ban will be lifted.

Winter storm conditions may create hazardous travel conditions over the next 24 hours on the highways leading into and out of Jackson, Wyoming. Be prepared for potential additional road closures during this period.

Travelers are advised to plan accordingly.
