Teen Night at the library will be a Magic Gathering

JACKSON HOLE, WYO – Teens in grades 6-12 are invited to register now through December 6 at the Teton County Library youth desk for a Magic: the Gathering draft tournament being held during Teen Night, Friday, December 7.

“Beginning players and those who don’t own Magic cards of their own are welcome to play,” says Mary Flamino, library Youth Services Manager. “We’ll be supplying Guilds of Ravnica booster packs and lands, and local Magic enthusiast Seth Robertson will be on hand to facilitate the tournament.”

Participants will vie for prizes including movie passes and gift certificates to Moos and Hole Bowl. As is usual at the monthly Teen Night, free pizza and other refreshments will be offered, as well as other gaming for those who are sitting out of the tournament.


Teen Night. Friday, December 7 from 5-9pm. Magic: The Gathering draft tournament in the library youth wing.

  • 5:00 – 6:00pm. Magic draft
  • 6:00 – 6:30pm. Deck building (cards provided)
  • 6:30pm. Magic participants briefly leave the building while library closes to the public
  • 6:45 – 9:00pm. Match play (play up to three matches)
