VICTOR, Ida. \u2014 Businesses and citizens join representatives in local government on Saturday, December 14 for Nordic Dinner, an annual community gathering hosted by Teton Valley Trails and Pathways which features presentation of the organization's Stewardship Award. The award is an annual honor with a 12-year history and highlights an evening of silent auction as well as raffle held 6\u20139 p.m. in Victor's Wildwood Room. It recognizes an individual who has taken independent action to significantly enhance valley trails and assets while exemplifying TVTAP organization goals. TVTAP is a nonprofit group with a volunteer Board of Directors which works closely with regional, state, and national entities in development valley-wide of connected, pedestrian and bicycle path networks for year-round usage. Winter projects include Nordic Grooming Program, aimed at development of maintained Nordic ski trails at Alta, Teton Canyon, as well as Victor. And trail work in the national forest tallies over 1,200 volunteer hours each summer.
