JACKSON HOLE, WYO \u2013 Seasoned deejay Mikey Thunder was a Jackson local until 1999 when he was kidnapped by Michael Franti and Spearhead for the Stay Human Tour. Thunder opened that Jackson date, was recruited to open the rest of the tour, and then moved to Boulder. After honing his craft, he joined the Pretty Lights crew, opened over thirty shows and performed cuts on the Making Up a Changing Mind EP. This homecoming will find him on stage with Cut La Whut and E.R.A. at the annual Smith Presents: The White Out Snow Ball on Friday at the Pink Garter Theatre.\r\n\r\nSmith donates \u201cthousands of dollars in prizes and new gear\u201d to be given away in what has become one of the yearly kick-off parties for winter in the Tetons. The party flyer calls for \u201call white attire\u201d and \u201cdress to impress,\u201d so get your finest white threads and contribute to the sea of people powder.\r\n\r\nLast time Mikey Thunder came to town in 2016, it was for a sold out Pretty Lights show at the Pink Garter. The following month he was featured at Contour Music Festival.
