JACKSON HOLE, WYO \u2013 Rocky Mountain Bank and the Community Foundation of Jackson Hole announced today the first two Jim Moses Nonprofit Professional Fellows: Hannah Sell (Senior Center of Jackson Hole) and Daniel Oas (Teton Youth & Family Services). Both nonprofit employees submitted compelling applications detailing how additional professional development will enhance the impact of their work and contribute to Jackson\u2019s nonprofit sector overall. The fellowship was created to honor Jim Moses, retired CEO of Rocky Mountain Bank. Moses helped many nonprofit employees develop their careers and pursue continuing education. He demonstrated his commitment to our community by\u00a0serving on numerous boards, and under his leadership, Rocky Mountain Bank helped finance the Center for the Arts and the Housing Trust\u2019s Redmond Street Rentals. Current Bank CEO and president, Mark Hendrickson noted, \u201cWe were heartened by the thoughtful requests we received in the inaugural year of this fellowship. Both of these fellows share Jim\u2019s commitment to giving back to the community, exemplifying one of Rocky Mountain Bank\u2019s core values.\u201d Hannah Sell is the activities and volunteer coordinator at the Senior Center of Jackson Hole. She said she plans to utilize the Jim Moses Fellowship to complete the Nonprofit Administration Certificate through Colorado State University. \u201cThe appeal of this program is that I will be able to apply some of the material to my current role, and also examine topics I have not been exposed to yet in my career,\u201d Sell added. Daniel Oas, the Juvenile Diversion Coordinator at Teton Youth & Family Services, will pursue a Master\u2019s in Public Administration through St. Mary\u2019s University of Minnesota. \u201cIn the future, I plan to continue building my leadership skills under the umbrella\u00a0of Teton Youth & Family Services, because there is so much more that needs to be done. In an environment where shrinking state\u00a0budgets limit human services, community nonprofits must strive to\u00a0boost organizational efficiency and reach goals with fewer resources,\u201d\u00a0Oas said. The Jim Moses Fellowship supports mid-career to senior management nonprofit employees in Teton County interested in furthering their education.
