Slash pile burning continues today, expect to see some smoke

JACKSON HOLE, WYO – Motorists and others may notice smoke in the area of Wilson, Alpine and White Pine Ski Resort.

Bridger-Teton National Forest firefighters will be burning slash piles today south of Hwy 22 at the base of Teton Pass, as well as conducting burns near the town of Alpine, and at White Pine Ski Area. Smoke will be visible in the vicinity of these piles.
