RendezvousFest means road closures downtown

JACKSON HOLE, WYO – The Town of Jackson has scheduled a closure of Broadway (between Cache and King) and Center Street (between Deloney and Broadway) beginning at 5:00am on Friday, March 15 until 2:00am on Saturday, March 16 for the Rendezvous concert on the Town Square. Pedestrian access to shops surrounding the Town Square and the George Washington Memorial Park will remain open.

Singer-songwriter Grace Potter will be performing a free concert on Friday, March 15 in the streets surrounding the Town Square. The venue opens at 5:00pm and music is scheduled to begin at 5:30pm. The concert is part of Jackson Hole Rendezvous Spring Festival which is taking place both in the Town of Jackson and at the Jackson Hole Mountain Resort between the dates of March 15 through March 17.

“We are asking that the public to allot a little more time to get from point A to point B,” said Sam Jewison, Streets Manager. “You will be able to get to where you need to go, but please expect a slight disruption of normal traffic patterns.”

The Town of Jackson is requesting that drivers respect the road closure and no parking signs along Broadway and Center Street. Set-up for the concert will begin at 5:00am on Friday, March 15. It is anticipated that the streets will open to traffic by 2:00am on Saturday, March 16. Please plan accordingly. The Town of Jackson apologizes for any inconveniences that this may cause.

Crews are sensitive to the hours of operation for this effort and will do their best to keep noise to a minimum. However, residents and businesses near the concert may hear equipment noise associated with set-up and take down as well as amplified sound throughout the day for sound checks.
