JACKSON, Wyo. — Teton County and Jackson Parks and Recreation will be entering Phase II of its reopening on Sunday, July 5, 2020. In this phase, the Recreation Center will expand swimming opportunities from five days to seven days a week.
Below is a list of Phase II accommodations that will be offered at the Recreation Center:
• Monday – Friday 6-11:30 a.m. – Open Lap Swimming: Maximum 1 per lane unless from the same household. 12:15-5:00 p.m. – Reservation Lap Swimming: Maximum 1 per lane, 12 years and over in 1-hour blocks.
• Saturday and Sunday 10:30-5:00 p.m. – Public Family Swim/Open swim will be allotted in 1.5-hour blocks and families must reserve a time online
• Steam room, sauna, hot tub, and therapy pool will remain closed during family swim.
• Reservations limit people and time in the pool to allow cleaning in between blocks. Those interested in Open Lap swimming can use their annual pass or punch cards, while reserved lap and family swimming will be charged a single-use fee paid, which will be paid when the reservation is made. All reservations can be made online here. In the case that a timeslot fills, staff will begin a waitlist.
As part of the Phase II reopening, the free community shower program will close on Wednesday, July 1. Recreation Center patrons may begin using the showers on July 5, 2020.
As public health guidelines change, program opportunities will continue to open throughout the summer.
