Police Log: Recent calls for service

JACKSON HOLE, Wyo. – Here are some recent calls for service in Teton County/Jackson from the dispatch log. Names may be withheld at the request of law enforcement. All persons cited or arrested are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. Charges are subject to change following official filing from the Teton County Attorney’s Office.

Comments: Report of neighbor reaching into Reporting Party’s property and marking on the inside of his fence. Ongoing issue between neighbors for the last couple of years as harassment.

Comments: A woman reported that her car had been damaged on the driver’s side while it was parked and unoccupied. The car appears to have been “keyed.”

Comments: Call for a subject in front of store with an active warrant. Warrant confirmed by dispatch. Subject located and arrested for warrant.

Comments: Victim was at her friend’s grandparents home. When the Victim reached to pet her friend’s dog, the dog bit her on the right index finger, causing an open wound.

Comments: A man reported his FedEx package was missing from his residence, though FedEx showed that the package had been delivered.

Comments: An unknown person took an unsecured bicycle not belonging to them without permission. There are no suspects at this time.

Comments: Hit and run collision occurred at a local business parking lot. Cameras to be checked. The victim’s vehicle was parked and unoccupied. No suspects at this time.

•LIQUOR LAW – LIQUOR, POSSESS
•TRESPASSING – TRESPASSING, PRIVATE PROPERTY

Comments: A local business manager called to report a male trespasser on their property. Police responded and also found the male to be in possession of an open container of alcohol in public. The male ran from an officer after being confronted about trespassing and the alcohol. The male was stopped by the officer until the second officer assisted in placing the male into handcuffs. The male was booked into the Teton County Jail.

Comments: Officers responded to a two-vehicle collision which had occurred on the roadway. During the investigation the, at fault, driver was found to be intoxicated and was arrested for DWUI.

Comments: Officers responded to a report of a suicidal subject in town. Family and neighbors stated they saw the individual enter his residence. Officers attempted to contact the individual at his residence but were unsuccessful. Due to a lack of any emergent circumstance, Officers cleared the scene pending further investigation.

Comments: Unknown suspect vehicle struck unattended parked vehicle on the driver side mirror. No other damage done. Damage under $1,000.

Comments: A copper metal ring was located near town square and dropped off at the front desk of the police department. No owner came to claim it so it was kept for safe keeping.

Comments: Officers responded to a report of an intoxicated subject. The subject was so intoxicated he was unable to recall his address which he had resided in for over 10 years. Subject was arrest for public intoxication BrAC .303%.

Comments: Officers responded to a local motel for a report of a male who was screaming incoherently and disturbing the peace. After a field investigation, Officers found the male was under the influence of alcohol and was arrested for public intoxication.

Comments: Subject in wheel chair attempted to maneuver up sidewalk and tipped over. The subject sustained injury from the fall. The cause for the fall was associated to sidewalk construction.
