JACKSON HOLE, WYO – Here are some recent calls for service in Teton County/Jackson from the dispatch log. Names may be withheld at the request of law enforcement. All persons cited or arrested are presumed innocent until convicted in a court of law. Charges are subject to change following official filing from the Teton County Attorney’s Office.

Comments: Vehicle owners noticed car accessory missing from their car upon waking. The true cause for the disappearance of the accessory is unknown, but a report was made in case a theft pattern appears in the area. Inactive.

•ASSAULT – SIMPLE ASSAULT
Comments: Officers were dispatched to a disturbance where the male suspect got physical with the victim, destroyed property, drove a stolen vehicle, and was in possession of firearms. The suspect was pulled over after he fled the house and was detained. Officers confirmed Unlawful Contact did occur and the male was arrested. Case closed by arrest.

Comments: Victim was visiting at her friend’s home. Victim stepped out to take a phone call and when she returned she put her hand out and was bitten by her friend’s dog.

Comments: A man was asked to leave a business due to his intoxication. The man refused to leave. Officers arrived and found the man still in the business, and highly intoxicated, the man was arrested for trespassing.

Comments: Officers responded to a report of a hit and run in a business parking lot involving an unoccupied parked vehicle. Minor damage occurred but no one was injured. Investigation is ongoing.

Comments: Female obtained a cab and didn’t pay upon arrival to a private business property. Female was cited for theft of services. Female was then asked to leave the property multiple times. Female did not leave, did not arrange a ride to leave and when offered a ride accepted, then declined. Female did not make arrangements to be transported or make an attempt to leave the property. Female was arrested for trespass.

Comments: Reporting party witnessed driver of an SUV back up and strike a parked unattended Subaru. Subaru sustained damage to the passenger door and part of the driver door. Damage under $1,000.

Comments: A man was observed by officers walking in an uncoordinated manner as if impaired. The man entered his vehicle and attempted to drive away but was contacted by officers first. The man was found to be intoxicated and was arrested for public intoxication. The man submitted to a portable breath test with a result of .24%.

Comments: Officers on foot patrol made contact with a group of individuals who appeared intoxicated inside a vehicle. Officers found the driver of the vehicle to have a BrAC of .11%. The driver was arrested for DUI.

Comments: Man let valet park his car. When the car was returned paint was missing from the door. Case still under investigation.

Comments: Officers responded to a domestic disturbance. The domestic disturbance turned into stalking and harassment. There was no physical violence only the attempt of suspect removal.

Comments: Officers responded to a suspicious person talking to themselves, acting erratic, and urinating in a parking lot. The suspect then drove their vehicle onto a sidewalk and stayed there until officers arrived on scene. When officers responded they noticed that the suspect seemed intoxicated. Officers conducted field sobriety tests and the suspect performed poorly. The suspect was charged with DUI.

Comments: A man was reported to be passed out in a public bathroom and not responding. Officers arrived and found the man awake and standing. The man was highly intoxicated and was later arrested for public intoxication. The man submitted to a portable breath test at the jail with a result of .38% and was sent to the hospital to be evaluated due to his high level of intoxicated.

Comments: A woman reported stepping on a loose screw in the boardwalk near Town Square. The screw was broken and punctured her shoe and broke the skin on her heel. Officers removed the damaged screws in the area.

Comments: Officers were called to a house party with loud music. This was the 5th time Officers were called to this house regarding loud music in the last 2 months. The tenant was issued a citation for breach of peace.

Comments: Officers were dispatched to an intoxicated subject who was passed out but a passerby woke him up. Officers arrived to find the subject highly intoxicated leaning against a wall for balance. The subject was unable to recall where he was staying and was unable to walk on his own. Officers arrested the subject for public intoxication.

Comments: Concerned citizen discovered an individual passed out on a sidewalk and called 911. Responding officers discovered a subject intoxicated to the point of being unable to care for themselves. Subject was arrested for public intoxication.

Comments: Employees of a local bar told a subject to leave due to their threatening behavior. The subject refused to leave and was arrested for trespassing.

Comments: REDDI called in for a vehicle driving 5mph in a 30mph zone. Officers found the vehicle, contacted the driver and put her through SFST’s. Driver displayed signs of impairment and was arrested for DUI.

Comments: Person walking their dog called dispatch to report a cold hit and run collision. The person reported part of the fence for the Mateosky
baseball field was damaged and a vehicle license plate was lying next to the damaged fence. Contact was made with the vehicle owner and the owner was cited.
