Photo surfaces of dog, owner involved in Old Bill’s incident

JACKSON HOLE, WYO – The Jackson Police Department is attempting to contact the owners of the light brown dog (larger dog with vest) in this picture.

The dog bit a child during Saturday’s Old Bill Fun Run and law enforcement would like to follow up with the man seen walking the dog in this photo. If you know who they are or can provide police with contact information, you are encouraged to respond anonymously.

Incidentally, the dog was previously identified as a pit bull. After reviewing the photo of the dog in question, and sensitive to what can and has in some ways become a demonization of the breed, Buckrail has decided to omit any reference to presumed breed of dog.
