Pet of the Week: Meet Doug E. Fresh

Rock the (forever) mic right with the one… the only… the FRESHEST, Doug. Doug E. Fresh was transferred via our Pilot Rescue Program from the Idaho Falls Animal Shelter this past December. Doug E. was found as a stray and just has that classic street pup persona. He’s been on his own for as long as he can remember and longs for a family to take him in and show him love.

For being a lonely kid himself, he sure digs human kids and would thrive in a home with them. He enjoys other dogs and has really sparked quite a shelter romance with adoptable Gracie. As soon as he hits your house he mellows out and can be quite the couch potato, and loves riding co-pilot in the car.

If you’re a fan of the underdog, Doug E. Fresh is your DAWG! Call the Jackson/Teton County Animal Shelter at (307) 733-2139 to set up a meet and greet with Doug or better yet take him home for a trial foster to adopt or a weekend slumber party.
