Meet town employee-of-the-month: Tim Gallagher

JACKSON HOLE, WYO – Streets Department guru Tim Gallagher is this month’s Value Jackson recipient.

Value Jackson is a recognition program for Town of Jackson employees demonstrating exemplary levels of service. Each month, a new recipient is selected and the award is passed along.

Last month’s recipient, Robert Heiner, a mechanic in the Public Works Department, selected Tim Gallagher as June’s Value Jackson. Gallagher works in the town’s Streets Department.

Heiner said he selected Gallagher because, “Tim takes initiative whenever he can. Furthermore, Tim always asks for advice and runs with it. Tim has a great attitude. ‘It is my job. It is our job’ fits Tim like a ‘T’ because of his willingness to take things upon himself has taken a huge workload off of the shop. He is a great asset to the Street Department.”

The core values that go into making a Value Jackson employee include: Customer Service & Focus, Openness, Innovation, Respect, Professionalism, Positive Workplace, Stewardship & Conservation, and It Is My Job – It Is Our Job.
