PINEDALE, Wyo. — With a detailed COVID-19 action plan for American Legion Park, the Pinedale Fine Arts Council (PFAC) will kick-off its Soundcheck Summer Music Series on July 4 featuring a triple bill of touring artists and an attendance cap of 475. The bill will feature country/folk-leaning Utah artists Timmy the Teeth and Branson Anderson along with Nashville country duo Sally & George. With the three largest free concert series cancelled in Teton County (Music on Main, JacksonHoleLive, Concert on the Commons), Pinedale’s music series is one of the scant offerings in the region. The safety plan includes mandatory social distancing with the aid of a checkerboard seating arrangement developed by Jorgensen Associates, groups no greater than six escorted to and from their checkerboard square, no dancing, and masks recommended for attendees and required for nonperforming staff. Food trucks will be on-site, outside of the park. The July 4 Soundcheck will coincide with Town of Pinedale’s Annual 4th of July Picnic (2-4 p.m.), and a fireworks show at sundown. Safety measures will apply. PFAC’s Talent Buyer and Outreach Director Tim Ruland has curated some of the more distinctive bills in the region over thirteen years of hosting the series. The schedule also includes Whippoorwill with Brianna Straut (July 18), Jenna & Martin (Aug. 1), Wildermiss with The Lonesome Heroes (Aug. 7), and Andrea Von Kampen with Jason Tyler Burton (Aug. 15).
