Lawsuit brought by gay couple against Thayne dismissed

STAR VALLEY, WYO – The Star Valley Independent is reporting a lawsuit against the Town of Thayne has been dismissed.

Rusty and Marc Andrus, owners of Rustlers, had brought a discrimination suit against the town of Thayne, its mayor and town council early this year. The Andruses are gay and claimed their business was discriminated against on that basis. Town officials denied the allegations.

According to the Star Valley Independent, the suit was dismissed Tuesday by the United States District Court for the District of Wyoming.
