TETON VILLAGE, Wyo. — Jackson Hole Mountain Resort (JHMR) is pleased to announce that all activities will open this weekend for the summer season. The Bike Park, Via Ferrata, Bungee Trampoline, Climbing Wall and Tin Can Cantina open Saturday, June 20.
Teewinot Chairlift will open for Bike Park access from 10 a.m. until 6 p.m. daily. Tin Can Cantina at the base of the Bridger Gondola will be open from 11:30 a.m-5 p.m. For a complete list of weekend operations and times, CLICK HERE.
JHMR will be celebrating Father’s Day this Sunday, June 21 with free Bike Park access, 50 percent off all bike demos and free Bridger Gondola rides for fathers accompanied with a child. For a complete list of Father’s Day offerings, CLICK HERE.
The Bridger Gondola operates daily from 9 a.m.-5 p.m., and to purchase tickets at the best price, buy online and save $7 on tickets.
Starting July 1 and continuing through mid-September, the gondola will extend to evening operations free of charge on Tuesdays through Sundays starting at 5 p.m. for al fresco dining at The Deck and dinner at Piste Mountain Bistro with additional health precautions.
The Fourth of July holiday weekend will be festive despite fewer events in Teton Village this year. JH Sports will host a tent sale on Friday and Saturday, July 3-4, offering 50 to 70 percent off merchandise. Season pass holders will receive an additional 10 percent off (up to 75 percent off total) as well.
Fireworks will take place at 10 p.m. on July 4 in Teton Village. Spectators are asked to view from their cars or to keep social distancing protocols in place.
Many other events are planned for this summer season at JHMR all with health and safety as a priority. Signature events, including the Rendezvous Hillclimb, Rendezvous Enduro Mountain Bike Race, and Bikes, Brews, and Baskets are all scheduled for later in the summer.
Weekly events including Yoga on the Deck, Friday Night Bikes, and The Trail Starts Here virtual running event challenge are all scheduled throughout the summer.
Concern for the health and human safety of all employees and visitors is paramount during the COVID-19 pandemic. Because of this, standard summer operations are being adjusted to navigate the new norms of social distancing and safety protocols.
JHMR shops, restaurants and activities are open for business with additional precautions and protocols in place this summer, which include enhanced cleaning of facilities, social distancing measures, hand sanitizer stations and required face coverings for guest and employee interactions.
Masks will be required for guests inside retail facilities and during activities where social distancing cannot be maintained. JHMR is committed to following all state and local health orders and will be continuously adjusting operations and safety protocols to protect staff and guests.
