JACKSON HOLE, WYO – Jackson Hole Airport has received its allocation of 2017 Airport Improvement Program grant money totaling more than $7 million.
The airport is wrapping up the final phase of a six-part plan to shore up the apron area. Two grants were received from the FAA’s AIP—$1,035,000 in spring, and another $6,085,000 was announced recently. JH Airport received $8.6M in grant money in 2016, which it used to repair an estimated 33,000 square feet of the current commercial service apron in aircraft parking areas 8 and 9.
The airport is also wrapping up a construction project that began after Labor Day, replacing some aged concrete on the airside of baggage claim.
