JACKSON HOLE, WYO – The sudden and unexpected death of Jeremy Scholes is still reverberating through the community. Scholes, 41, of Swan Valley, passed away February 28 at Eastern Idaho Regional Medical Center.
The rodeo family, for one, has been a place of outpouring for condolences from the many lives Scholes touched especially through his association with Jackson Hole Rodeo.
“With a heavy heart and great sadness, we have lost a great member of our Jackson Hole Rodeo family. Jeremy Scholes you were a ‘Cowboy’s Cowboy,’ a friend to all, and a super ambassador to our sport,” rodeo representatives stated on their Facebook page.
Mayor Pete Muldoon also opened Monday’s regular meeting of the town council with a heartfelt plea for all to keep the family in their prayers.
“As you may have heard, Jeremy Scholes, who is the husband of Pauline Scholes who works in town hall, tragically and unexpectedly passed away this past weekend. I’m sure none of us can begin to imagine the shock and the grief the family is experiencing and we grieve with her for that incomprehensible loss,” Muldoon said at the meeting.
Scholes leaves behind his wife, Pauline and kids Connor and Kenedie. Two different memorial funds have been set up to help the Scholes family.
