GRAMMY-nominated Blue Highway to play Silver Dollar’s ‘Bluegrass Session’ Nov. 21

JACKSON,Wyo – Wort Hotel and its Silver Dollar Showroom announces musical heavy-hitter, Blue Highway as headliner to the inaugural Bluegrass Session, November 21.

The award-winning music of Blue Highway has earned the band thirty-four national awards, three GRAMMY nominations, a Dove Award and 2016 distinction as “Favorite Bluegrass Artist of All Time.”

Tickets are $95/person and you have the option to buy a table or first-come-first-serve general admission table seats. Tickets are limited and can be purchased through the Wort Hotel’s website or front desk starting October 25th at noon MT. Showroom doors swing free at 6 p.m.

Blue Highway melds the talents of members, Tim Stafford, Wayne Taylor, Jason Burleson, Gary Hultman and Shawn Lane in celebration of the band’s 25th anniversary and 2019 new album launch, ‘Somewhere Far Away,’ a project already making waves thanks to two chart-topping singles.

Bluegrass Session, at Silver Dollar Showroom within the Wort Hotel’s Silver Dollar Bar, encompasses stage show, dining and a craft brew reception featuring Roadhouse Beer as part of a twice-yearly  plan to provide award-winning bluegrass played in an personal setting.

“The up-close intimacy of the Silver Dollar Showroom will be jaw-dropping and highly inspirational,” said talent buyer, Justin Smith. “These guys are absolute legends and this show will mark their first performance in this region.”
