University of Wyoming Symphony Tour at Walk Festival Hall

Known for exciting performances and innovative repertoire, the University of Wyoming Symphony Orchestra will soon be performing at Walk Festival Hall in Teton Village.  The concert will be at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 19, and is free and open to the public. It is sponsored by the Jackson Hole High School orchestra and the Grand Teton Music Festival.

The concert will include Tchaikovsky’s Second Symphony (the Little Russian Symphony), American composer Gwyneth Walker’s Open the Door, the Dvo?ák Violin Concerto with soloist John Fadial, and more. Long-time UWSO conductor Michael Griffith will be on the podium. As an encore, the orchestra will be joined by musicians from three area high schools in a suite from Andrew Lloyd Webber’s Phantom of the Opera.
