History Talks: Intro to Environmental History + Wolves

June 12 @ 5:30 pm - 6:30 pm

Free

Join us for our new speaker series as we explore Environmental History in the American West.

Environmental history is the study of human interaction with the natural world over time. This public programming specifically explores human-animal interactions and the role these historic relationships have played in shaping our environments, cultures, and politics.

Historian and local resident Dr. Sherry Smith will facilitate this free presentation. On June 12, Dr. Timothy Lehman will be presenting an intro to environmental history plus talk about wolves.

For a more in-depth experience, sign up for a follow-up discussion with Dr. Lehman and Dr. Smith immediately following the public presentation. To register, email [email protected] or call 307-733-2414

This series is presented with partial support from the Charles Redd Center for Western Studies and Think WY.
