30 Years of Writing in the West

On Friday, May 17th at 6:30, the Alpine Branch Library will be hosting Wyoming’s bestselling authors & archaeologists –Kathleen O’Neal Gear & W. Michael Gear. The Gears will be discussing their thirty years of writing about the West and will sell & sign books after their lecture.

From their buffalo ranch in Thermopolis, WY,  they have published 67 novels, dealing with archaeology, history, science fiction, novels of the West, and science-based thrillers.  They are best known for their award-winning PEOPLE series, based on prehistoric Native American societies.  Their books have been translated in 29 languages, and been on the New York Times, USA TODAY, and numerous international bestseller lists.
