Dog caught in trap meant for muskrats

JACKSON HOLE, WYO – Advocacy group Wyoming Untrapped reported a pet dog Lucy was caught in a 220 Conibear trap yesterday at Indian Springs Ranch.

The dog was only slightly injured after being set free. Game and Fish officials stress the trap was set legally on private property just under the water surface. It was reportedly set to trap and kill muskrats.
