Dinner with a Doc to examine sleep issues for seniors

JACKSON HOLE, WYO – This upcoming episode of Dinner with a Doc will feature Tierney Lake MD, who will discuss “Sleep Issues for Seniors.”

Dr. Lake will address basic issues around seniors and sleep, CPAP and sleep apnea, and best practices to optimize sleep.

St. John’s Medical Center puts on the series. Dinner with a Doc will take place at the Senior Center on Tuesday, March 20 beginning with dinner at 6pm. The talk follows.

The menu includes Greek salad, Mediterranean fish with tomatoes and vegetables, rice pilaf, carrot coins, whole wheat bread, and a fruit cup.

Dr. Lake practices at St. John’s Internal Medicine in Jackson. Born and raised in Durango, Colorado, she attended Fort Lewis College and completed medical school and residency at the University of Colorado HealthSciences Center. She previously practiced at Montrose Memorial Hospital in Colorado. Dr. Lake is an outdoor enthusiast who enjoys spending her free time trail running, mountain biking, backpacking, and skiing with her husband and two labs.


The dinner is free for seniors, thanks to support from the St. John’s Hospital Foundation, and $8 for guests. RSVP to the Senior Center at 733-7300.
