Delays expected on Spring Gulch Road next week

JACKSON, Wyo. — Teton County Road and Levee will be applying dust guard on the gravel portion of Spring Gulch Road next week.

Crews will apply the environmentally friendly magnesium chloride solution beginning Monday, June 8, through Wednesday, June 10. This will take place from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. Drivers should adhere to the 10 mile-per-hour work zone speed limit and expect delays up to fifteen minutes as the road will be configured for one-way, alternating traffic during the application process. The gravel section of the road begins at Lucas Riva Ridge Road and ends at Bar BC Ranch Road.

Dust control measures are taken to reduce erosion, make unpaved surfaces harder and more compact to help prevent surfaces from becoming uneven or developing potholes, making roads safer to use.

Please contact the Road & Levee Division with any questions at (307)-733-7190.
