Community update to be streamed this afternoon

JACKSON, Wyo. —  A weekly COVID-19 community update is scheduled for 3 p.m. today.

Representatives from St. John’s Health, Teton County Emergency Services, Teton County Health Department, the Jackson Town Council, the Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce and the Teton Board of County Commissioners will present.

The community update will be streamed live, online on the Town of Jackson’s website.

This update will enable our community to hear from local experts about the current situation, mitigation measures in place, resources currently available, and actions that we as individuals can take to help keep ourselves, our loved ones and this entire valley safe and healthy.

Dr. Paul Beaupre, CEO of St. John’s Health; Dr. Travis Riddell, Teton District Health Officer; Jodie Pond, Teton County Director of Health; Pete Muldoon, Mayor of Jackson; Natalia Macker, Chair of the Teton Board of County Commissioners; Anna Olson, Jackson Hole Chamber of Commerce President; Todd Smith, Jackson Police Chief; and Dr. Sadie Monaghan, a clinical psychologist with Teton Cognitive Behavioral Therapy will all be present to provide an update on the current situation in Teton County.

The meeting will be held at the Town Hall; however, in an effort to practice appropriate physical distancing, it will not be open to the public. We invite and encourage all members of the community to watch the meeting online.

For individuals unable to watch the update live, please know that the update will be aired live on the following local radio stations: KJAX (93.5 FM), KHOL (89.1 FM) and KMTN (96.9 FM). The update will be archived on www.jhcovid.com as well as on the Town of Jackson’s website.
