Cleanup of pathway along Flat Creek this Saturday…join in

JACKSON HOLE, WYO – A joint effort will get underway to clean up Flat Creek this weekend.

United by Blue, Friends of Pathways, and JD High Country Outfitters will combine forces to conduct a waterway cleanup of any trash and debris left behind on the Community Pathway System where it runs along Flat Creek.

Both the pathway and the creek are heavily used during the summer recreation season and sometimes show the effects.

This cleanup is one of 21 that United by Blue is cohosting nationwide this summer, from June-August, to establish community partnerships between their specialty retailers, conservation or municipal partners, and volunteers.

United by Blue will provide all cleanup supplies, snacks, and drinking water. All volunteers will receive a free JD High Country Outfitters t-shirt and a 20% off coupon. Kick your weekend off right by joining the effort this Saturday for some community fun and volunteering.

Meet at the grassy area behind Smith’s Grocery Store at 10am on Saturday, July 14.

United By Blue is a sustainable outdoor apparel and accessories brand founded in 2010. For every product sold, United By Blue removes one pound of trash from oceans and waterways through company organized and hosted cleanups. To date, they have cleaned over a million pounds of trash from waterways across 27 states with the help of over 10,000 volunteers.
