Christmas comes early at Good Samaritan Mission

JACKSON, Wyo. — Saint Nick made an early visit to children in Jackson Thursday morning.

It was the annual Children’s Christmas Party and breakfast at the Good Samaritan Mission. Every year, the Mission invites a group of Totes for Hope children, identified by the Children’s Learning Center as food insecure — primarily kids who are eligible for free or reduced lunch — for a special Christmas breakfast that is completely free.

This year was extra special. The Good Samaritan Mission invited 40 kids. Each one left with a new bicycle, courtesy of Mr. Claus.

Santa himself made a guest appearance. Kids got to sit on his lap, share their Christmas wishes, and enthusiastically accept their early Christmas gifts.

Merry Christmas, kiddos. Have fun and be safe on your new bikes!
