Celebrate New Year’s at the ‘Ghee

ALTA, Wyo. — Grand Targhee Resort is kicking off the new year with lots of fun activities for the whole family. Whether you are a local or are staying slopeside, there’s a little bit of something for everyone to welcome in 2020. See below for a list of events:

New Year’s Eve Torchlight Parade & Fireworks

December 31 – 4–8 p.m.
Come watch or participate in the annual Torchlight Parade. The Kid’s Glowstick Parade is perfect for kids between 5 and 14 who possess basic turning and stopping skills. Kids meeting time is 4 p.m. at Ski & Snowboard School, and their parade is at 4:30 p.m. Registration is throughout the day at Ski School for the Torchlight Parade. Participation is limited so register early.

Adult’s Torchlight parade is open to skiers and riders 12 and up and space is limited. Roadside flares are used and old clothing is recommended. Meet at 4:45 p.m. at the Ski School. Parade starts around 5:45 p.m. Fireworks show immediately to follow.

Special New Year’s Prix Fixe Dinner @ The Branding Iron Grill

December 31 – 5–9 p.m
Ring in the New Year at Branding Iron Grill with a savory four-course meal. Reservations are required!

New Year’s Dinner Menu

New Year’s Eve Bash at the Trap Bar & Grill

December 31 – 10 p.m–2 a.m.

Head to the Trap Bar for a party featuring local band, the Bush Pilots. Doors open at 9 p.m. and the show starts at 10 p.m. Admission is $10.

This show will sell out! Tickets are available for purchase at the Trap Bar. Included is a midnight champagne toast, party hats, and so much more! There will be a FREE Shuttle after 9 p.m. with the last Shuttle to Driggs at 2:15 a.m. See full shuttle details here.
