JACKSON, Wyo. \u2013 Rodeo fans gathered as the Jackson Hole Rodeo kicked off its season opener last night. In response to COVID health concerns, the rodeo has been working to stage their popular events while complying with health order restrictions. Teton County District Health Officer Travis Riddell announced Friday that the rodeo has permission to go on. Right now, the rodeo can only allow up to 600 fans with proper spacing and other mitigating factors in place. The rodeo schedule will follow the usual format\u2014Wednesday and Saturday nights. Friday nights will be added beginning with July 3. The rodeo is on hiatus from July 19-28 for the Teton County Fair, then resumes Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays through September 12.
