BREAKING: Munger Elementary evacuated, everyone ok

JACKSON, Wyo. —  UPDATE 12:30 p.m.: Fire/EMS has given the building the all clear. Students are returning to class.

UPDATE: Students are expected to be allowed back in the school starting at noon today.

Students and faculty at Munger Mountain Elementary School have been evacuated this morning due to a triggered alarm. Teton County School District Information Coordinator Charlotte Reynolds said all students and staff are fine.

Reynolds said Jackson Hole Fire/EMS was paged for a triggered alarm, but the cause of the alarm is unknown. Fire/EMS is evaluating the situation.

Students are currently waiting in school busses to stay warm. TSCD will determine if they will be sent to another school for the day.

TCSD is asking parents not to come to the school to allow emergency responders to focus on their work and district staff to focus on students.

This is a developing story. Buckrail will update as more information becomes available.
